It is really convenient to live on campus. Everything is a skipping stone distance away. You might have a 5 minute walk to your 8 a.m. and that's always great. Coming in, I was actually really worried about my suitemates because I didn't know anyone here and they've actually come to be my best friends on campus. You just kinda have to take a leap of faith. Resident life is awesome. Uh, they put on all these cool special events residence halls are great places to do that, um, very close knit community. It is really easy to get involved on campus. We do have a student engagement fair every fall. Almost every student here is involved in. Something I'm involved in football, theatre, choir. I tutor students. I'm on the Welcome weekend team. I'm in band, string ensemble, track and field. I'm on the ministry team. Being in all of those different things allows me to find who I am while I'm being supported by people who share the same values as me. There's also activities going on almost every single day, if not one a week. We have a game every single weekend or multiple throughout the week, and they're all free for students. Each month they do a big, huge event, so we did an outdoor game night that was super fun, and we had bouncy houses and bags. Students like to go up to the reservoir. Um, I know that they rent out kayak, paddle boards. I love using the gym as one of my favourite spots to be with my friends and kind of. Bond in a weird way over like just working out my favourite thing about campus is just the culture. I mean everybody is just willing to help you everyone wants to go to all the events and support you and you'll meet people and you'll be friends with people you never expected to be friends with or never expected to meet and they'll become some of your best friends and lifelong friends.
