We've got two boys. One a freshman at UJ now and one a sophomore. And we're very blessed in the fact that they had a number of opportunities, both from an academic perspective and also an athletic perspective. When they started to go down the path of the University of Jamestown, there was a little bit of surprise and shock by that. It's turned out to be the best decision that each of them could have made and everything that the University of Jamestown represents has really fit both of their needs.
Any problems I had with my FAFSA, any questions I had, I could call the Financial Department. They were so willing to talk to me. At that point in my life, it was really, really helpful to have all of those people behind me and helping me. My kids have been lucky. They have received a lot of scholarships.
The private school price tag can scare some people, but I think people also need to understand that there's lots of opportunities and the University of Jameson gives great scholarships. You really got to look at total out of pocket cost once you finally look at your entire package from a scholarship perspective and see how that compares to the other schools that are out there as well.
The thing that I asked Jonah, I said, "Jonah, what's the most favorite thing?" He goes, "Everything. Like I like everything."
I have had a child at the University of Jamestown since 2012. I would not have it any other way.
