Meet Brayden, a freshman Elementary Education major at the University of Jamestown. His day starts at 8:00 AM with a quick granola bar—and a firm stance that waffles beat pancakes every time. His morning begins in Christian Beliefs, a class he loves for its fresh daily insights, followed by a productive hour of studying in the library.
Lunch is a social highlight, where he meets friends daily to refuel (and grab his favorite oatmeal raisin cookies). Afterward, he takes his favorite walk on campus to the Legacy Center for his Instructional Media Technology class. Once his academic requirements are wrapped up, he shifts gears with a workout at the Foss Wellness Center.
Brayden winds down his evening back at the library to finish his assignments, though he always makes time for campus life. Whether it’s an ice cream social for Homecoming or other student-led activities, he thrives on the community atmosphere. For this freshman, a day as a Jimmy is full of balance, good food, and a growing excitement for the years ahead.
