Good morning. I'm Addie Schnabel and I'm from Asheville, North Dakota. I'm a junior accounting, financial planning, wealth management major. And I'm here to show you a day in the life of the Jimmie. Let's go.
Normally I start my day by going to class but this morning is Wednesday morning and that means I'm headed to the Chapel for my Ministry Team meeting. Come on inside. Morning guys. Anytime that I can fit it into my schedule, I love coming to Knight Hall to get breakfast. My favorite part about breakfast is Marge's, make your own omelets. My secret ingredients, ham, bacon, and extra cheese. You are the best.
Morning, Ria. Morning, Katie. I work in admissions as a Jimmie Ambassador, where I give campus tours to prospective students. My favorite part is being able to show the University of Jamestown's beautiful campus. Hey, Ari!
What are you doing this weekend?
Man I'm going home. I got to help trench some water back into the hog barn before the wintertime.
In the middle of my day I had to choir. Even though I'm not a music major, I still get a scholarship to to participate with the University of Jamestown's Concert Choir. We practice every day in our beautiful Reiland Fine Arts Center. We get to travel every spring break on tour. Last year we were in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, California. And the year before that we were in the Midwest. I really love choir.
Located in Raugust Library, the Student Success Center is full of resources for students from career services to study abroad, you name it, we've got it. I personally work in tutoring where I tutor accounting 201 and 202. It is so fun to be able to help students make the connection between debits and credits and really jumpstart and boost their semester.
