Hi, I'm Anna Hollen. I'm a junior nursing major and a volleyball player, and I'm here to show you a day in my life. Follow me.
So I usually start my day in lecture or here in the nursing sim lab. This is where I really get to hone in on my skills that I learned in lecture and apply it to as real of a setting as possible. We have state of the art, high fidelity mannequins, tools, supplies, that you'd see in the hospital setting. See you later, Joe.
On any given day, if I have any sort of questions, I'll hop up here to where a lot of the faculty offices are. All my nursing professors are always willing to help. Hey Sari!
How did the other volleyball game go?
Good, we won both games.
This is the brand new Newman Arena. I'm in here every day for practice, and game days are a whole another story. The atmosphere is incredible, and every other team agrees that it's home. This is our amazing weight room. We're in here as a team a lot during the offseason. Our coaches are constantly updating this room to fit our athlete's needs. And our coaches really emphasize the details and that the little things make the big things happen. Hey, coach. Good how are you? Yep. Yeah, really simulation this morning.
In between classes. I'll stop here at the Java for my iced almond latte, and join a couple of my friends to start studying for the day. Hey, Jax. How's it going?
Good. How are you?
Good. Just got to study. I got an exam today on infants and toddlers.
Behind me I have Prentice Hall. This is the residence hall where I live and it's where I end each day. The great thing about living here is that it's a really close community vibe. A lot of my friends live here and each room comes with its own bathroom. Thanks for following me around and letting me show you a little bit of a day in my life. Hopefully I'll see you on campus soon. Good. I'm glad the day's over. Now I can relax.
